Requirement for Minors:

ONLY one of the following physicians may certify a minor in DE for cannabis:

Pediatric Neurologist
Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Pediatric Oncologist
Pediatric Palliative Care Specialist

Veterans and Children as Patients:

Medical marijuana access for minors requires a parent or guardian to act as a caregiver to help safely administer the medicine.

What Are The Costs of Obtaining a Medical Card?

The initial evaluation fee is $199 and includes the doctor's visit, state application assistance, and comprehensive medical marijuana education. Additionally, the state charges a $50 state application fee for the medical ID card.

Following a successful evaluation, you will be guided through the process of submitting your state application for a medical marijuana ID card. Submit your application and pay the $50 state fee.

Renewal And Ongoing Care

Annual renewal of your medical marijuana certification and state ID card is required.

$50 renewal fee charged by the state
