01. What is MAT?

MAT stands for Medication Assisted Treatment. MAT is a combination of medication combined with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders.

02. Who is a candidate for MAT with the ELXR Online Treatment Program?

Adults 18+
Regularly using opioids or alcohol and want to halt their use.
Individuals who don't require a higher level of care for acute medical or psychiatric issues.

03. What addiction medications do the ELXT medical providers prescribe?

ELXR’s providers primarily prescribe:

Suboxone
Generic Buprenorphine + Naloxone

04. What is Included in the Monthly Maintenance Phase?

Monthly Provider Visits
Medication management
Ongoing support from the dedicated ELXR care team

05. How do I meet with my provider?

ELXR program uses a seamless HIPAA and HITECH-compliant telehealth video platform for consultations with your medical provider. You will receive instructions on how to use the system before your first visit. (its pretty easy)

06. How frequently will I need to be drug tested?

Patients are required to get tested once a month after their initial visit to monitor progress. Successful treatment starts with "staying clean."

07. Where do I go to get tested?

Our care coordinator will arrange that for you.

08. Do you accept insurance?

No. ELXR is a self-pay program.

09. Will my medical insurance cover my medication?

If you do have medical insurance you can use it to pay for your prescription.
